Guillermo Endara was a Panamanian politician who served as the President of Panama from 1989 to 1994. He was known for his role in the country's transition to democracy following the U.S. invasion in 1989 that ousted dictator Manuel Noriega. Endara's administration focused on rebuilding Panama's economy and strengthening democratic institutions after years of military rule.
