Eni SpA is an Italian multinational oil and gas company headquartered in Rome. It is one of the world's largest integrated energy companies, operating in the exploration, production, and distribution of oil and gas, as well as in renewable energy sectors. Recently, Eni was in the news for reporting the acquisition of contaminated oil containing organic chlorides, which was discovered during internal testing of their refining processes.
