Enrico Lagomarsino was the founder of the Lagomarsino Company, established in 1896 in Milan, Italy. He played a pivotal role in the development and manufacturing of mechanical calculators during the 20th century. Under his leadership, the company transitioned from importing American calculators to producing its own innovative models, including the popular Numerica line. Lagomarsino's vision helped shape the calculator industry in Europe, particularly in financial institutions, until the rise of digital technology led to the decline of mechanical calculators.
