Epapara Poutapu

Epapara Poutapu, a 24-year-old man, tragically lost his life in a stabbing incident at an Albany bus station in Auckland, New Zealand, on September 18, 2023. Known for his struggles with mental health issues, including schizophrenia, Poutapu had been reported to have experienced auditory hallucinations at the time of the incident. His death led to a court case where the defendant claimed self-defense, resulting in a manslaughter conviction.
