Erasmo de Rotterdam

Erasmo de Rotterdam was a Dutch Renaissance humanist and theologian, famous for his advocacy of education and reform in the Church. He is often remembered for his scholarly works, particularly 'In Praise of Folly', and his belief in the importance of critical thinking and the study of classical texts.
