Erastus Kanga is the director-general of the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), an organization dedicated to the conservation and management of wildlife in Kenya. He has played a pivotal role in the conservation efforts for endangered species, including the mountain bongo antelope, recently involved in the repatriation of these critically endangered animals from the United States back to their native habitat in Kenya.
