ERC System is a German startup based in Ottobrunn, Munich, that specializes in the development of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Their flagship project, named Romeo, aims to revolutionize patient transport between hospitals, boasting a payload capacity of 500 kg and a design that allows for both vertical and conventional take-offs. Founded in 2020, the company is working towards achieving regulatory approval from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) by 2031.
