Eric Vergel-Tovar

Eric Vergel-Tovar is an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, specializing in Urban and Regional Planning. He is known for his research on the impacts of urban infrastructure projects, such as the Bogotá Metro, on real estate development and urban dynamics. His recent study, conducted in collaboration with the World Bank and the Empresa Metro de Bogotá, revealed significant positive effects of the metro project on the housing market, particularly in areas surrounding the metro stations.
