Erik Veistrup

Erik Veistrup was a prominent Danish art collector and philanthropist known for his extensive collection of contemporary ceramics and artworks. He was celebrated for his generosity, having donated numerous pieces to institutions such as Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg. Veistrup's passion for art was evident in his active engagement with artists and exhibitions, and he played a significant role in promoting ceramic art in Denmark. He passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 89 after a short illness.
