Erika Matko
Also known as Ingrid von Oelhafen, Erika Matko was one of the 645 Slovenian children forcibly taken by the Nazis during World War II. Born in Rogaška Slatina, she was abducted at the age of nine months and only discovered her true identity at the age of 59. Every year, she travels over 1,000 kilometers from Germany to attend gatherings of the stolen children, where she shares her poignant experiences.
