Erlan Aldazhumanov

Erlan Aldazhumanov is the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee and the Director of the Border Service in Kazakhstan. He was recently in the news due to a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, where he was criticized for the poor organization of customs services and delays in the reconstruction of automobile checkpoints at the borders with Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
