Erlin Margarito Escoto

Erlin Margarito Escoto, also known by his alias 'Kotolo,' is one of the two individuals currently imprisoned for the murder of Óscar Bustillo Oseguera, a candidate for deputy from the Libertad y Refundación (Libre) party. He was arrested three months after the assassination, which occurred in September 2025, and is accused of being one of the material authors of the crime, alongside Aníbal Josué Aguilar.
