Ernest Teye

Professor of Food Integrity Engineering at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ernest Teye has proposed a mobile food integrity laboratory aimed at enhancing food safety and combatting food fraud in Ghana and the surrounding region. This innovative, portable lab is designed to provide onsite testing of food authenticity and quality using non-destructive, chemical-free technology. His research highlights alarming rates of food adulteration in local markets, and he advocates for the adoption of this mobile solution to empower food monitoring systems, especially in underserved areas.
