Ernest Tomlin
Ernest Tomlin was a young man from Notting Hill, London, who was tragically aboard the RMS Titanic during its ill-fated maiden voyage in 1912. At just 21 years old, he had been studying theology at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, before a coal strike led to his ticket being switched from the RMS Adriatic to the Titanic. Tomlin's identity was later confirmed through a water-damaged restaurant ticket found in his pocket after he perished in the disaster.
