Ernesto Duronto

Ernesto Duronto is a prominent cardiologist in Argentina, serving as the head of the Coronary Unit and the Department of Teaching and Research at the Favaloro Foundation. He has been actively involved in advancing cardiac care in the country, particularly in the use of innovative treatments for heart attacks. Recently, Duronto highlighted the significant improvements in the administration of fibrinolytic drugs, specifically tenecteplase, which can now be delivered in just ten seconds, greatly enhancing the chances of survival for heart attack patients.
