Ernie Walker

Ernie Walker is a former senior rugby league player and president of the original Central Rugby League Club, who has dedicated much of his life to the sport, playing until the age of 70. He remains actively involved in the local rugby league scene, advocating for the Central Pride club to gain access to the abandoned clubhouse, which he believes could be revitalized to support youth in the community. Walker has taken measures to protect the space, including removing squatters, and is passionate about ensuring the clubhouse serves its intended purpose for future generations.
