Ernisbek Ormokov

Ernisbek Ormokov is the mayor of Manas, Kyrgyzstan. He gained media attention following an incident in which he was physically assaulted by Kamchybek Tashiev, the head of the National Security Committee, in October 2025. The confrontation arose amid disagreements over budget allocations for development projects in the municipality, including infrastructure improvements and the establishment of an IT academy.
