Eroweti Kaihau

Eroweti Kaihau is an Auckland man who was recently jailed for his involvement in a violent incident involving a shotgun and a police chase. He was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for discharging a firearm recklessly and for his role in a group assault on another inmate while serving time. At the time of the shooting, Kaihau was already on a community-based sentence for previous firearms charges. His actions, which included firing a shotgun from a moving vehicle, led to a police pursuit across Auckland before his eventual arrest.
