Ersilia D'Ambrosio

Ersilia D'Ambrosio is an accomplished archaeologist known for her expertise in ancient Roman history and her passion for uncovering the hidden layers of the past. She is currently leading the project to explore and prepare the Grottino del Campidoglio, a vast network of tunnels beneath Capitoline Hill that has remained largely untouched for nearly a century. D'Ambrosio's work combines archaeology and historical interpretation, aiming to make this subterranean labyrinth accessible to the public as a new tourist attraction in Rome.
