Ester Xarlander

Ester Xarlander serves as the Deputy Director of the Nuclear Safety Department at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). She was recently in the news for her involvement in overseeing the results of reclamation work at former uranium mines in Yangiobod, Uzbekistan, in collaboration with local and national officials to promote ecological rehabilitation and the development of ecotourism in the region.
