Ethan Dallas was a 15-year-old boy from San Diego, California, who tragically took his own life in April 2024 after experiencing severe emotional distress linked to his interactions on the online gaming platform Roblox. Diagnosed with autism, Ethan had been playing Roblox since the age of seven and had developed a troubling online friendship with an adult posing as a child, which ultimately led to coercive and harmful experiences. His mother, Becca Dallas, has since filed a lawsuit against Roblox, alleging wrongful death due to the platform's inadequate safety measures, highlighting the dangers posed to children by online predators.
