Eugen Auerbach

Eugen Auerbach was a pianist and composer who became known for his work accompanying theatrical performances in the early 20th century, particularly within the cabaret scene in Vienna. His collaboration with artists like Erika Mann showcased his talent in blending music with political and social commentary. Tragically, Auerbach's life was cut short when he was murdered in Auschwitz, a victim of the Holocaust and a grim reminder of the artistic community's suffering during the Nazi regime.
