Eugénio Amade

Eugénio Amade is a community leader from Moma, a coastal district in Mozambique, who has recently been vocal about the urgent need for government attention to infrastructure and economic issues in his region. At the XXVII session of the Provincial Development Observatory of Nampula, he expressed concerns over the poor condition of the access road to Moma, which has hindered development and accessibility. Amade also highlighted the closure of industrial units that have left many unemployed, as well as rising insecurity in the area. His advocacy aims to draw the attention of provincial leaders to the pressing needs of Moma, prompting a promise from the Governor of Nampula, Eduardo Abdula, for a follow-up visit to address these challenges.
