Evelia Aparicio de Esquivel

Evelia Aparicio de Esquivel is the current dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Chiriquí (Unachi) and a former mayor of David from 1999 to 2004. She has recently been in the news due to her separation from her position amid allegations of embezzlement linked to her dual roles as a university administrator and a doctor at the Caja de Seguro Social.
