Everett Lewis

Everett Lewis, the husband of famed folk artist Maud Lewis, was an artist and salesman who played a crucial role in promoting his wife's artwork. He was married to Maud in 1938 and supported her artistic endeavors throughout their life together. After her passing in 1970, he began creating his own paintings, often mimicking her style and sometimes signing them with her name, which has recently drawn attention due to the sale of one of his works for $5,500 at auction.
