Everton Jacobs, a prominent community leader and cultural icon in Antigua and Barbuda, passed away at the age of 78. Recognized for his lifelong contributions to the island's cultural landscape, Jacobs was instrumental in founding various cultural groups and initiatives, including the Invaders and the Miss Big and Beautiful pageant. His dedication to sports was evident through his work in formalizing domino and warrior associations, as well as his behind-the-scenes role in Antigua’s National Softball League. Jacobs’ partnership with Alister Thomas spanned over four decades, where they focused on uplifting local arts and carnival, reflecting his deep commitment to his country and people.
