Evgeny Kotlyarov

Evgeny Kotlyarov is a Belarusian activist and provocateur known for his outspoken criticism of the government. He was detained in spring 2024 for posting videos that challenged the authorities and was subsequently sentenced to 1.5 years in a general regime colony on charges related to discrediting the Republic of Belarus and insulting a government representative. After serving time in detention, he recently re-emerged online, sharing poetry and mentioning other political prisoners.
