Evrard Ndayizeye

Evrard Ndayizeye is the director general of Anacoop (National Agency for the Promotion and Regulation of Cooperative Societies) in Burundi. Since 2020, he has overseen the creation of over 17,065 cooperatives aimed at boosting employment and contributing to the national economy. Ndayizeye advocates for cooperative development as a means to address unemployment and enhance production, while also highlighting the challenges faced by cooperatives, such as limited access to arable land and capital. His efforts emphasize the importance of investor engagement in cooperatives to promote local and international market access.
