Exauce Katete is a secondary school student from Bukavu, South Kivu, who participated in state exams amidst the challenging conditions of living in a rebel-held area. Despite the insecurity and potential disruptions, Katete reported a sense of safety during the examination process, highlighting the resilience of students in the region as they pursue their educational goals.
