Eyyüp Cengiz
Eyyüp Cengiz, a 27-year-old father of two from Antalya, recently became a victim of a real estate scam that turned his dream of homeownership into a nightmare. After receiving 2.7 million lira from his father to buy a house, he was deceived by a con artist named Gökhan, who falsely claimed to own a property. Cengiz transferred 1.85 million lira to Gökhan's account under the pretense of completing the purchase, only to discover he had been scammed when the supposed owner refused to sign the necessary paperwork. Following the incident, both Cengiz and the real homeowner reported the fraud to the authorities. Cengiz's situation is further complicated by his health issues, including COPD and lung failure, making his plight even more challenging as he struggles to provide for his family.
