Fabio Massimo Petti

Fabio Massimo Petti is an Italian icnologist associated with MUSE, the science museum in Trento. He is recognized for his expertise in studying dinosaur footprints and played a key role in the recent discovery of thousands of dinosaur tracks in the Stelvio National Park. During a press conference, he explained how these footprints, preserved in sedimentary rock, provide remarkable anatomical details of dinosaur feet, shedding light on their behavior during the Triassic period over 200 million years ago.
