Fabrício Machado, also known as Fafá, is a renowned mestre de bateria in Brazilian samba, celebrated for his leadership and artistry in creating captivating rhythms for samba schools. He has been at the helm of the Grande Rio's bateria for five years, contributing significantly to the school’s performances and its reputation in the Carnaval scene. Recently, he expressed his disappointment after the Grande Rio lost the title for the first time under his direction by a mere tenth of a point, leading to an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues.
