Fahima Khalidi

Fahima Khalidi is an 82-year-old woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease, who was kidnapped along with her caregiver in Gaza in December 2023. She was held for six weeks in a detention center, during which she became confused and unaware of her surroundings. Her case has drawn attention to the issue of wrongful classifications, as she was mistakenly labeled as an illegal combatant.
