Faik Ali Ozansoy

Faik Ali Ozansoy was a notable Ottoman governor of Kütahya known for his extraordinary moral courage during the Armenian Genocide. In 1915, he defied the orders of the Ottoman authorities to deport the Armenian population, ultimately saving the lives of approximately 1,000 Armenian families. His actions stand as a testament to humanitarian resistance in the face of systematic extermination.
