Faisal Arefin Dipan

Faisal Arefin Dipan was a Bangladeshi publisher and activist known for promoting secular literature and supporting writers who faced persecution. He was the owner of the publishing house Jagriti Prokashoni, which published works of free thinkers and critics of religious extremism. Dipan was murdered in 2015 during a wave of violence against secular writers and publishers, marking a tragic loss for the literary community in Bangladesh.
