Faisal Zayan

Faisal Zayan is the head of the Forestry Division in Mosul, Iraq, and has been instrumental in the ongoing efforts to reforest and rehabilitate the northern forests of the region. Under his leadership, a comprehensive plan has been implemented to plant over 105,000 trees of various species suitable for the local climate, aiming to restore the natural environment that was severely affected in recent years. Zayan's initiative includes not just planting trees, but also cleaning up war debris, improving irrigation systems, and ensuring sustainable management of the forest areas to promote biodiversity and ecological stability.
