
Fajar Adriyanto
Marsekal Pertama Fajar Adriyanto was a notable Indonesian Air Force officer and a distinguished fighter pilot, known for his involvement in military aviation and public relations within the TNI AU. He graduated from the Indonesian Air Force Academy in 1992 and served as the Head of the TNI AU Public Relations Department from 2019 to 2020. Fajar made headlines for his role in intercepting unauthorized foreign military aircraft over Indonesian airspace during the Bawean incident in July 2003. Tragically, he died in a training aircraft accident in Bogor on August 3, 2025.
