Fale McCarthy

Fale McCarthy is a former youth worker who was convicted of indecent assault against a 16-year-old girl in New Zealand. He has a history of working with youth and was recently sentenced to nine months of supervision and community service instead of imprisonment, after arguing that he needed to reunite with his family in Australia. His attempt to secure employment with the Uniting Church was met with denial from the church, which stated they do not hire individuals with sexual assault convictions.
