Farag Abdel Wahab

Farag Abdel Wahab, born in 1942 in the village of Shnara in Egypt, is a retired military officer who served in the Egyptian Armed Forces during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. He was part of the engineering corps and played a crucial role in preparing for the crossing of the Suez Canal, where he operated a bulldozer to remove obstacles and facilitate the movement of troops. His experiences during the war and his reflections on bravery and sacrifice have been shared with his family, highlighting the significance of the October War in Egyptian history.
