Fareydoon Abbasi

Fareydoon Abbasi served as the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran from 2011 to 2013. A prominent nuclear scientist, Abbasi played a significant role in Iran's nuclear energy development and was targeted in various assassination attempts attributed to Israeli intelligence services, particularly Mossad. His death during the Iran-Israel conflict in June 2025 highlights the ongoing tensions surrounding Iran's nuclear program.
