Farhana

Farhana is a 48-year-old woman from Sambhal, India, who was recently released from jail after being wrongfully accused of pelting stones at police during a violent incident. She was arrested on November 26 and held for 87 days before an investigation revealed that her physical inability to climb to the rooftop from where the stones were thrown proved her innocence. Despite her protests, she faced serious charges until the special investigation team established that she was falsely implicated by a neighbor with whom she had an old enmity.
