Fasela Oosterwolde

Fasela Oosterwolde is an emerging Surinamese-Dutch filmmaker known for her documentaries and television work in Suriname. Currently studying at the Dutch Film Academy, she aims to showcase Surinamese heroes through her films, seeking to inspire pride and recognition for local talent. Her latest project is a documentary about the life of Borger Breeveld, a celebrated Surinamese actor and media figure, which reflects themes of resilience and cultural identity.
