
Fathima Rashla
Fathima Rashla is a significant political figure in Sri Lanka, known for being the first Muslim woman member of the Jaffna Municipal Council. She gained recognition after her family was displaced by the LTTE in 1990 and later returned to Jaffna in 2004, where she became a primary school teacher. Recently, she was in the news for being awarded a prestigious seat by the Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi party.
