Fátima Penayo

Fátima Penayo is the daughter of Marcos Ávalos Monteiro, who has been fighting for the return of the property her father occupied since the 1990s. After her father was unjustly evicted from the land he cultivated, she has taken up the mantle of advocating for its rightful return, struggling against bureaucratic obstacles and seeking dialogue with the Indert's current president, Francisco Ruiz Díaz, to reclaim the family’s lost property.
