Fausto Geovanny Buenaño Castillo

Fausto Geovanny Buenaño Castillo is a general in the Ecuadorian National Police who was appointed as the new Minister of the Interior by President Daniel Noboa on February 15, 2024. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Minister of Public Security and commanded the Esmeraldas region, where he focused on addressing issues related to criminal gangs.
