Federica Squarise

Federica Squarise was a 23-year-old Italian woman from San Giorgio delle Pertiche, Padova, who tragically became a victim of a violent crime while on vacation in Lloret de Mar, Spain, in June 2008. She was raped and murdered by Santiago Víctor Díaz Silva, an Uruguayan man, whose actions led to her untimely death and sparked widespread media attention and outrage over issues of violence against women.
