Federico I Barbarroja

Federico I Barbarroja, also known as Frederick Barbarossa, was a Holy Roman Emperor who reigned from 1155 until his death in 1190; he is remembered for his strong leadership and military campaigns aimed at consolidating imperial power in Italy, as well as his conflicts with the papacy during a time of great political strife.
