Federico José Pepe Suárez is a former Minister of Public Works in Panama, known for his involvement in several high-profile infrastructure projects during the administration of President Ricardo Martinelli. He has recently been in the news due to his indictment in a corruption case related to the alleged embezzlement of public funds while overseeing contracts awarded to the Spanish construction company FCC between 2009 and 2014. Suárez is currently serving a prison sentence for separate charges of organized crime and money laundering in a different case known as Blue Apple.
