Fedor Viktorovich Gorbachyov

Fedor Viktorovich Gorbachyov, born on July 29, 1979, in Minsk, is a Belarusian historian and IT consultant known for his work with Wargaming, an international game development company. He comes from a family with a military background, being the son of a police colonel. After graduating from Belarusian State University with a degree in history, he worked in academia before transitioning to the gaming industry in 2013. Gorbachyov gained notoriety for reportedly obtaining an operational cover passport under the alias Viktor Fedorovich Makoveev, raising suspicions about his ties to Belarusian state security services. He emigrated to the EU in 2020 and continues to work in the gaming sector, maintaining a presence in professional networks despite the controversy surrounding his past.
