Fedyk Mariana

Fedyk Mariana is a civilian from Novovolinszk in western Ukraine who traveled to Budapest to receive a prosthetic leg after suffering a severe injury that led to amputation. With the Ukrainian healthcare system overwhelmed by war casualties, she found assistance through the Ukrainian civil organization, Soldiers of Light, which facilitated her treatment. After receiving her new prosthesis, she expressed her joy and newfound sense of normalcy, stating, 'I feel like a complete woman again.'
